Bioenergy Life Science Secures Triathletes Laura and Greg Bennett as Ribose Brand Ambassadors

‘World’s Fittest Couple’ Named as New Spokespeople for the Superior Energy Ingredient

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – August 23, 2011 – Bioenergy Life Science, Inc. (www.bioenergyribose.com) secures US triathletes Laura and Greg Bennett as ambassadors for the brand’s patented d-ribose ingredient – Bioenergy Ribose™. Known as the Fittest Couple in the World, the Bennetts are among the world’s best triathletes, with numerous top finishes in international competitions between them, and both intend to represent the United States next summer in London.

“We couldn’t be more excited to partner with Bioenergy.  Not only do we get the value of Bioenergy Ribose to improve our endurance and recovery, we get to work with a company that is as conscious about the purity of their product as we are about what we consume. It is extremely refreshing,” according to a written statement from Laura and Greg Bennett.

A long time US resident born in Sydney, Australia, Greg Bennett’s accomplishments include finishing 4th place in the 2004 Athens Olympics, winning six international world cups, as well as being the first triathlete to win all five major grand slams in one year, being the sports top money winner and the 2007 Triathlete of the Year. In 2009, Greg managed to finish in second place in the Life Time Fitness Triathlon Series, even after being struck by a car during a training bicycle ride.  Inside Triathlon magazine recently named Greg as one of the 15 Greatest Triathletes of All Time.

Not to be outdone, Laura Bennett, a native of West Palm Beach, Florida, finished 4th in the 2008 Beijing Olympics and is a five-time World Cup winner who has been named Triathlete of the Year four times – 2003, 2006, 2007 and 2010. Laura won the US National Championships in 2003 and 2010, in addition to finishing first in the 2007 Hy-Vee World Cup in Des Moines, Iowa, which featured the largest prize purse in the history of the triathlon.

What is Bioenergy Ribose?

Bioenergy Ribose, designated by the FDA as GRAS (Generally Regarded As Safe), is the only patented brand of d-ribose, a simple sugar that facilitates the natural process of energy production. D-ribose stimulates the synthesis of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the essential energy compound found in every cell in the body, improving energy levels, fighting fatigue and boosting cardiovascular functioning.

While the body naturally produces ribose, physical stress can deplete the body’s natural stores, and the body’s process for replenishing ribose produces undesirable consequences, including the production of lactic acid. Using a supplement that contains Bioenergy Ribose can help prevent the aches and soreness associated with elevated levels of lactic acid, allowing athletes like the Bennetts to train harder for longer.
