MEMPHIS, TN (Oct. 30, 2012) – During the final event of Project Carton: The Carton Design Competition, Evergreen Packaging representatives and industry experts unveiled the winning carton design at this year’s Pack Expo International. Jennifer Ahern, of Philadelphia, PA, was named the grand prize winner.
Inspired by the edgy drawings of Picasso, Ahern’s design was developed to appeal to a more contemporary shopper and featured an abstract approach to the iconic cow image displayed on today’s dairy product packaging.
Project Carton: The Carton Design Competition launched earlier this fall at internationally recognized design college, the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). The competition showcased the creative and high impact message delivery opportunity available on fiber-based cartons and offered new, compelling insight for the future of packaging design.
