Daily Happy Hour with complimentary cocktails presented by Junior Merino, Master Mixologist
From 2 to 4 PM, on Tuesday, June 26th, and Wednesday, June 27th, master mixologist Junior Merino, known as The Liquid Chef, will be designing cocktails and beverages that feature Asian and Latin American taste twists. Visitors who want to enjoy the “Happy Hour” will discover that Junior Merino has the unique ability to balance exotic ingredients with spirits, creating bold and exciting flavors and taste sensations.
“Junior Merino, the world renowned mixologist will be using ingredients that include the trendsetting Asian and Hispanic tastes that have been replicated so precisely in Symrise flavors,” said Mr. Laroche.
Symrise presents the culinary talents of Chef Quy Trinh, Junior Merino and Heidi Merino
Mr. Laroche stated that Symrise has also engaged the creative skills of Chef Quy Trinh, a chef partner at the Las Vegas location of Roy’s, one of Roy Yamaguchi’s 31 fabled and fabulous Roy’s restaurants that are situated in cities around the world. Chef Quy Trinh’s genius combines Asian and Polynesian culinary expertise with a mastery of Hawaiian spices, fruits, vegetables and herbs. He has a special gift for fusion cuisine, along with a thorough knowledge of traditional culinary excellence. Visitors to the Symrise booth on Tuesday, June 26th will sample a mouthwatering rendition of Asian Mint Pesto Chicken with ume plum vinaigrette. Also to be enjoyed is the chef’s fabulous creation of Lemongrass Poached Tiger Prawns with soy wasabi cocktail sauce. Chef Quy Trinh will top off these exquisite Asian tastes with a Vanilla and Blood Orange Layered Panacotta, enhanced with mango tarragon chutney.
Mr. Laroche went on to explain that along with his wife and business partner Heidi Merino, Junior Merino’s expertise extends to culinary talents with a focus on regional Mexican specialties. On Wednesday, from 12 Noon to 1:30 PM, Junior and Heidi will be preparing Marinated Grilled Shrimp Ceviche. This delectable gourmet recipe features some enticing regional Mexican tastes such as tomato water and mezcal. They will also be serving corn with powdered chipotle pepper and mezcal aioli, and guacamole with roasted jalapeño-infused tequila and grilled pineapple.
