Product Type: Energy: Shot; Container: 1.75 oz glass
BevNET Review: While we know that people don’t drink energy shots for their flavor, it certainly plays some part in the thought process that a consumer uses to determine which shot to purchase. In this case, 420 Hemp Energy “Snaps” is a product that is extremely difficult to consume. The product has no nutrition or supplement panel (an oversight, we’re sure), but it appears to be a low or zero calorie formulation. There’s noticeable aftertaste, which tastes like a mixture of artificial sweetener and caffeine. Otherwise, it’s really hard to describe what sort of flavor they’re going for in this product. What’s also surprising is that the label lists goji, longan, hemp extract, and golden ginseng, which aren’t listed in the ingredients list. Functionally, it seems to be about on par with other shots out there. On the exterior, the product’s design is in need of some help, with very small lettering running around the 1.75 oz. glass bottle. Otherwise, we’re not fans of the drug references or the word “snaps” (we’re not even sure what that means). Overall, the choice of and packaging limit this product’s market potential – especially when there are so many superior shots out there already.
