BevNET Review: So what you've got here is what pretty much tastes like a stock energy drink base with a tart flavor that's almost cranberry like. They've added some mate and hemp seed, as well as the requisite taurine, guarana, caffeine and B vitamin cocktail. It's not bad, but nothing new or innovative either. As for the outside -- we're not sure where to begin. The package is laden with cliché sounding references to drug use ("420", "purple dank", "time to ignite", "HighWay to the Smart Way"). Aside from this being a potentially limiting method of marketing that will leave the brand having novelty or extreme niche appeal, it simply creates a cluttered, incoherent look for the brand. Plus, this concept has been done before (and it has never worked). Ultimately though, it comes down to the sloppy execution put on this can's exterior. A redesign with an emphasis on being clean and coherent would be the place to start.

They have four different flavors, and each can has a different design. I don't mind it at all. Live a little. Sure, the hemp extract deal has been done before. But it's a local product to me, because I'm from BC. I love it that the local FastGas has the product in their separate display area. It doesn't get five stars because IMHO they should lower the caffeine content to 60 mg and add other B-vitamins, especially more B6 and B1.

redo the taste test

i think maybe when they redo the taste test have a redbul first and then compare it to dank. personally i think dank has a much better taste then Red Bull and red bull is the leading brand. i live in a small community in ontario and there is only one store that sells it and they make all sorts of money off it they have no signs or stickers advertising it but they are always sold out before any of the bigger named brands like red bull rockstar amp nos xience and monster. redo the taste test and dont be such a hater because of the marketing idea they used.

I WAS A SNOOP DOG PARTY, THE ONLY ENERGY DRINKS IN SITE WERE 420 AND I HAVE TO SAY THIS IS THE BEST EVERGY DRINK IVE EVER TRIED. I WONT DRINK NO OTHER ENERGY DRINK. I AM A BIG FAN OF THIS DRINK. I AGREE WITH MIKE YOU SHOULD REDO THIS TASTE TEST AND NOT BE SO CLOSED MINDED ABOUT THE NAME

I live in the los angeles area and am a very big fan of this company and drink. I have tried this beverage, as well as sold it in my store. I have had kids steal the cans and the stickers they put on the window. Maybe the can is a bit cluttered but my store has only been told of the great taste it has. You should redo your taste test. The drink tastes like grape I think. The beverage does taste much better than your rating. The can might be cluttered but it deff doesn't look and taste like all the other crap our there. Just giving my oppinion. Thanks so much Mike L Los Angeles
