BevNET Review: Blutonium's "UnconventionalEnergy" (aka Blue Raspberry flavor) is a unique looking product, but it needs cleanup in a variety of places. First, the flavor. The company's marketing materials promise good taste, but the product, which is flavored with sucralose, has a sweetener aftertaste and a level of sweetness that is a bit too light for our liking. Packaging is our other issue. There's definitely some novelty and uniqueness to the test tube shape, but the label design is difficult to read, which is mainly the result of clutter and poor color choices. Plus, the package isn't overly practical once you remove it from the cardboard test tube display that the manufacturer uses to retail this product. The product has to be stood upside down on top of the cap, which, at least in our tests, resulted in leakage as the seal of the cap isn't very tight. Overall, a unique concept, but we think that it over promises and under delivers in its current state.Reviewed on: 5/30/2008

BevNET Review: Blutonium's PeacefulPower is certainly one of the more interesting tasting and looking energy drinks that we've ever sampled. It features a spicy flavor that's a good concept, but hard to drink as it burns your throat. There's also sweetener aftertaste, which gives the product a less than pleasant finish. Unfortunately, the packaging problems that plague the other variety are no different on this one -- it's hard to read and not overly practical. Overall, this product needs some work.
