BevNET Review: If you're not familiar with the film Idiocracy from Mike Judge, Brawndo's tag lines ("The Thirst Mutilator" and "It's Got Electrolytes") might seem rather strange to you. Either way, inside the can you'll find a potent citrus flavored energy drink that has 200 mg of caffeine per can. Also included are a bevy of standard energy ingredients, including guarana, taurine, and B vitamins that have been sweetened with dextrose, ace-k, and sucralose. Overall, it's a nice tasting drink with a decent amount of kick. But really, this is what plants crave -- "not water, like from the toilet" -- and it's the Brawndo name that's going to make this stuff sell. It certainly has some novelty value to it, but it also seems different enough to make a real push, assuming Redux is up for it. Definitely worth a shot.
