The Elevate flavor of Daily Greens is a blend of spinach, watercress, cucumber, lime and vanilla. In terms of flavor, this is the sweetest of the three Daily Greens varieties that we sampled, but it is definitely not what we would call "sweet." The base flavor is very much that of the greens, with the spinach being the most assertive flavor of the bunch. From there, you can taste the cucumber and the lime, which imparts a light and refreshing flavor to the product. The addition of Madagascar vanilla is interesting (it's definitely not a flavor that you typically see in green juices) and it adds a pleasant note to the finish. All in all, this is one of the more unique tasting green juices that we’ve sampled lately. However, the differences between this product and other green juices is admittedly somewhat subtle and something that not every consumer will notice. Visually, the product uses a cylindrical 16 oz. PET bottle (which is supposedly better suited for high pressure processing than the square bottle that’s also commonplace in the cold-pressed juice category). In terms of design, the product has what we describe as a “healthy” look. And it definitely feels as though it skews towards the juice cleanse end of the category. While we could debate whether or not that's the best approach for this product, we're not going to. Instead, we feel as though Daily Greens has done a nice job of presenting a product that feels polished and professional and certainly feels like a credible entry into the cold-pressed juice category. Overall, we like the flavor that the company has created with this product, and the design definitely makes it feel like a high-quality offering.
