Review: Black Cow Vanilla Creme Rootbeer

In a land of many premium root beers, it's important for a product to have a reason for being. In the case of Druther's, it's not obvious what that reason is, unless it's purely the cow found on the label. We're doubtful that a cow is going to inspire root beer sales -- unless the product is solely marketed for use in root beer floats (probably not the best business decision). What's inside the bottle is basically your standard-fare "premium" root beer that can be found in countless other products. Perhaps the funkiness of the black cow will mean that this product is more memorable than the other brands out there, but we can't help but think that this product needs something else if it's going to have success.
