BevNET Review: Ex Drinks' "Ex Chill" is a carbonated blend of soothing herbal ingredients and vitamins, including chamomile, valerian, and lemon balm. The lightly carbonated formulation is sweetened with apple and lemon flavors, which provides a nice complement to the herbal finish that the product provides. Overall, it's a very pleasant drinking experience. The glass bottle (European Market only) uses a full wrap label that has been decorated with psychedelic style artwork (US Market utilizes an 8.4 fl oz can - same design). The appearance is unique and the artwork, with the exception of the drab gray backdrop, is quite pleasing. On the other hand, we think that the purpose and flavor of the drink need more prominence on the package. Otherwise, we think that this is a great tasting and innovative product.Reviewed on: 11/11/2010

BevNET Review: Ex Drinks' "Energy" is a pleasant tasting energy drink that's enhanced with kombucha, guarana, ginseng, and B vitamins. It also has a touch of cider vinegar and malt extract, which help round offset the fermented flavor of the kombucha. Really though, this is a very pleasant tasting product, with a nice balance of sweet and bitter tastes. Packaging is on par with the other Ex Drinks products, complete with an abstract image of a face on the front of the can. The "no artificial anything" is a nice tag line, especially as the super premium energy drink market continues to expand. BevNET Review: Ex Slim Energy is, as the name might suggest, a low calorie energy drink that is made with a unique blend of ingredients, including kombucha, guarana, and ginseng. With only 10 calories per can, the product delivers a flavor that's unlike the competition. Unlike other kombucha drinks, they've managed to keep its pungent fermented flavor under control, with the only a mild dose of kombucha coming out in the finish of the drink. The packaging follows the style of the other Ex Drinks products, complete with psychedelic art on the front of the can. It works better on this variety than the others, mostly because it uses a 250ml can and uses the word "energy" in a relatively prominent place. Hard to mistake that. Overall, excellent innovative taste -- but average packaging.Reviewed on: 11/11/2010
