Hansen’s Green Tea Sodas have all natural flavors with no artificial colors, no preservatives, no caffeine and no sodium. Diet Hansen’s Green Tea Sodas have no sugar, no carbohydrates, no aspartame, no calories and are sweetened with Splenda®. The sodas are available in lemon mint, tangerine, pomegranate and ginger, with diet versions available in lemon mint, tangerine and ginger. The sodas maintain the subtle yet distinct taste of green tea, infusing natural flavors to create a unique and savory blend that is certain to tempt even the most discriminating consumer. Each can of Hansen’s Green Tea Soda contains 35 milligrams of the powerful antioxidant epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). EGCG has 100 times the antioxidant properties of Vitamin E, which is considered to be one of the strongest vitamin anti-oxidants. Green tea has been used as a medicine in China for more than 4,000 years.

BevNET Review: This product smells great -- just like tangerines. However, the taste doesn’t live up to its promise. There’s very little depth of tangerine flavor and the green tea flavor is minimal. Diet Tangerine uses a Splenda/Ace-K blend, which leaves little aftertaste from the sweeteners, but we were disappointed with this product's thin body. The tangerine and green tea flavors seem mashed together in a non cohesive way. We like the earthy and wholesome can design, but it feels too skewed towards the value priced end of the market. Overall, it's a decent tasting product as far as diet CSDs go, but we'd really love it if they kicked up the tangerine flavor and took the packaging upmarket a bit. Reviewed on: 3/9/2007

BevNET Review: With its not-too-sweet taste, this is a pretty good product, although there’s no green tea flavor and massive amounts of carbonation. We like the dark red tones of the clean & earthy packaging, which have a slightly Eastern feel to them, as well as Chinese characters on the 16 oz. tallboy can’s front label. Its flavor is more mainstream tasting that other green tea sodas that we've tried, but it also lacks the punch and green tea flavor that competing products have.
