BevNET Review: While Green Apple’s bright green, candy-like color certainly has pop, it also conflicts with the health-focused benefits (“water, fruit, vitamins”) listed on the label. Just like the color, the flavor is candy-like, but, like the other varieties, it is light in body and substance. We might like to see a touch of salt in the flavor – which would make it taste more like a sports drink. Regardless, the bright green color was a bit of a turn off for us, and while it did quench our thirst, we’d likely reach for one of the other flavors.Reviewed on: 2/9/2007

BevNET Review: IQ H2O’s Mixed Berry variety features a fruit punch-style flavor that has a bit more body than the Pomegranate variety. The flavor is pleasant, but lacks depth, which actually makes it a worthwhile choice for use during physical activity. However, we’d like to see the color dialed down a notch as it implies a stronger fruit flavor than is actually present. Otherwise, this product did a great job of quenching our thirst. Using a stock bottle, the packaging is rather simple, but they have made good use of the white label by creating leaving it with a clean, modern finish. Reviewed on: 2/9/2007

BevNET Review: Pomegranate is a flavor that is part of almost every brand launch nowadays, and IQ H2O is no exception. There’s a relatively weak fruit flavor that bears no noticeable resemblance to pomegranate, instead tasting like some form of watered down fruit punch (it does, for the record, have 2 percent fruit juice, including pomegranate). Still, the watered down fruit punch flavor is fairly pleasant and, with only 40 calories per serving, it’s a worthy choice for the adult or calorie-conscious palate. And, regardless of it tasting like fruit or not, it definitely quenches your thirst. Added vitamins are also a plus, making this a worthy alternative to vitaminwater. The packaging is simple, yet clean, with an original look that feels like a hybrid of a sports drink and an enhanced water.Reviewed on: 2/9/2007

BevNET Review: This variety of IQ H2O has the most natural-tasting fruit flavor, which makes it our preferred flavor. Like the other flavors, it is light – bordering on watered down – and packs just enough orange and mango flavor to satisfy your thirst. The added vitamins are nice, but it’s hard to tell whether IQ H2O’s branding promotes their benefits successfully. Orange Mango’s white label contrasts nicely with the bright orange color of the liquid, giving the product a vibrant visual presence. Overall, a nice use of a simplistic package.Reviewed on: 2/9/2007
