Citrus Bliss

Product Type:Carbonated Soft Drink: Diet; Container: 12 oz Can
BevNET Review: Citrus Bliss is Thomas Kemper's take on the classic lemon lime soda. In the case of this product, it's also part of their "Naturally Diet" line, which is sweetened with erythritol and stevia. The cloudy colored liquid is sweet but crisp, with a level of carbonation that's on par with other CSDs. The citrus flavor is good, but it's not strong enough to cover up the sweetener aftertaste. Even so, it's no worse than what's out there, plus it has the added benefit of not containing artificial sweeteners. So to that end, it's definitely a product that's worth drinking if you're in the mood for a citrus flavored diet CSD. Packaging is a 12 oz. can, not exactly the most premium-looking package. It has a somewhat rushed feeling to the design, with the flavor name looking like it was slapped on after the design was completed. In addition, the use of an orange color is something that would be better for an orange flavored offering. Some sort of yellow/green might be more appropriate. Overall, the concept seems like a good one for Thomas Kemper, but the execution could definitely be improved

Tk Cola

Product Type:Carbonated Soft Drink: Diet; Container: 12 oz Can
BevNET Review: Sweetened with a blend of erythritol and stevia, Thomas Kemper's TK Cola is actually one of the few pleasant tasting diet colas that we've sampled. While there's still a little bit of sweetener taste in the mix, it's significantly better than just about anything out there. And the cola flavor is quite good, with just the right amount of spice, bite, and carbonation. On the outside, the 12 oz. can has the look of a value product, much the way that most other diet sodas seem to. It's fine, especially against what's out there, but there are two things that we're not big fans of: the addition of "TK" to the name (it's not consistent with the other flavors) and the choice of blue (it makes us think of blue liquid, which is not appealing). Otherwise, we think that they've done a really nice job of creating a palatable product with a clean looking appearance. Definitely worth a try if you are looking for a great tasting zero calorie cola.

Berry Passionate

Product Type:Carbonated Soft Drink: Diet; Container: 12 oz Can
BevNET Review: Of the three flavors that initially make up the Thomas Kemper Naturally Diet line, Berry Passionate is definitely the best tasting flavor. The fruit flavor is very well executed, with a natural berry taste that's very refreshing and enjoyable. Plus, it has the right level of sweetness and tartness to mask most of the after effects of the erythritol and stevia sweetener blend that allows this drink to achieve its zero calorie formulation. That said, this is a product that can stand with the best of them in the diet CSD category. Thomas Kemper has hit the nail on the head with the flavor of this drink. Packaging, on the other hand, still leaves a little something to be desired. While we don't have any concerns on the color choice of the can, it is a rather underwhelming looking can in comparison to some of the brand's previous glass designs. We bring that up only because the type of consumer who is into Thomas Kemper probably reaches for it because of its premium appearance. And that's something that this product is currently lacking. Overall, great taste, but we feel as though there's work to be done on this product's packaging.
