BevNET Review: Whether you are drinking this after consuming alcohol (its tagline is “The drink you drink after you…”) or are just drinking it as a functional beverage, Mr. Re is a worthy choice. Its light berry flavor and herbal ingredients give the product a mellow feeling in your mouth and a pleasant, soothing after effect. The packaging, on the other hand, is the true mystery of Mr. Re. The can has a dark red tone that drowns out the black stenciled image that’s in the background, plus the logo is a bit hard on the eyes due to the choice of font treatment and colors. Most important, however, is that the overall vibe of the brand is a bit too generic for the category. We’d like to see something with a bit more pop – otherwise we think Mr. Re will blend in with the crowd.Reviewed on: 1/26/2007
