O.N.E.: Coconut Water with Pineapple

BevNET Review: There’s a pretty hefty note of pineapple juice to this product, which makes for a nice tasting mixture when paired with the mellow flavor of the coconut water. Compared with some of the other fruit juice flavored coconut water products that are more sweet, O.N.E.’s effort truly does qualify as having a “splash” of fruit flavor. On the other hand, it comes in a smaller, 250 ml size, which might reduce the value proposition in the mind of the consumer. Still, they’ve done a nice job with the packaging, creating a bright looking package that has a positive vibe to it. It’s pretty easy to spot the flavor, as well as the “function” of the drink (electrolytes), so it fits the bill from our point of view. However, compared to the competition, who all more or less use blue color palates in their packaging, we’re not sure if O.N.E.’s entry will be able to achieve its own identify – or simply be viewed as a commodity. Overall, very enjoyable flavor inside the box, but the package could use a bit more to differentiate itself from the competition.
