BevNET Review: Classic Energy delivers exactly what we'd expect -- that "classic" energy drink flavor pioneered by the likes of Red Bull. Throwdown's effort is on par with the other entries of this type. That being said, it's going to come down to marketing and branding. The approach that Throwdown is taking is one that features aggressive and urban looking design. The execution is good, with the front panel presenting clean graphics and minimal text.

Not a bad taste, kinda has the taste of grapefruit. But of .70 cents compaired to $3 for the other drinks i love it!

While I generally enjoy the taste of Red Bull, and can tolerate Rockstar, this is a little too potent for me.. reminds me of BooKoo in that aspect.. not the flavor, but the body, as it's quite acidic, and tends to mess with my stomach in large quantities..

The classic Throwdown Energy Drink tastes like any other classic (note: Redbull taste) energy drink, but the energy it delivers and the aftertaste makes this one of the most enjoyable energy drinks for me to buy.

these are the best energy drinks ive had in along time and they dont have an after taste. i recomend these over monsters any day
