Update Information for This Brand

Manufacturer's Brand Overview: [Edit]
The Company indicated that 16 oz of TrueBlue(TM) Juice Cocktail, contains as much juice as a full serving of fresh blueberries. Lightly sweetened with cane sugar, not HFCS, the product is 'all natural' and formulated to comply with the most strict health food requirements. With 30% to 40% fewer calories per serving than most cranberry-based products, TrueBlue(TM) is also a preferred dietary choice. The brand has just been extended to include LiteBlue, the reduced calorie version of TrueBlue

Blueberry

Product Type:Juice: Fruit Juice; Container: 16 fl. oz PET
BevNET Review: Nice. This smells and tastes like blueberries, including a sweet blueberry aftertaste. Unlike the others in the True Blue line, the makers have managed to rein in the concentrated grape juice flavor, and the blueberry taste wins out. The result is a smooth, mild, sweet-but-not-syrupy drink that actually deserves to have its namesake fruit on the label. While we don’t know how many people out there wake up wondering where in the world they’ll get some blueberry juice, as opposed to some fresh blueberries, we do know that if they look in this 16-oz. PET bottle, they’ll find it.

Blueberry Cranberry

Product Type:Juice: Fruit Juice; Container:
BevNET Review: With its terrific balance between blueberry and cranberry flavors, this tastes like it could launch a whole new wave of mixed cocktails -- and it isn’t too bad on its own, either. There’s not as much of that great blueberry pie scent present in the Blueberry-Cranberry variety as in other TrueBlue products, but there’s a bit more blueberry flavor, especially in the aftertaste. After I finished it, I swear I was feeling around for bits of blueberry skin with my tongue. That having been noted, it should also be noted that in order to get the ½ cup’s worth of blueberry juice that is supposedly present in each bottle, one has to ingest two servings’ worth, or 220 calories. For 220 calories, friends, you could eat a LOT of blueberries.

Blueberry Green Tea

Product Type:Juice: Fruit Juice; Container: 16 oz PET
BevNET Review: While True Blue has managed to create a product that smells almost exactly like blueberry pie filling here, there’s something overwhelmingly reminiscent of Cran-Grape in this bottle. That’s probably the result of the combination of the dry flavor of green tea and the company using too much concentrated grape juice as a sweetener, but they’ve still got a nice product here. The stuff does indeed look like blueberry juice, is nice and sweet if a tad syrupy, and comes with a simple, engaging label. One caveat – the labels look a lot alike, and the juice is so dark that it’s tough to figure out which one you’re getting.

Blueberry Pomegranate

Product Type:Juice: Fruit Juice; Container:
BevNET Review: The blueberry gets drowned out by the grape juice concentrate here, but one can definitely catch a hint of pomegranate in this multi-layered offering from TrueBlue. But this one tries to do a bit too much, and as a result, ends up tasting too sweet and a bit out of balance when compared to its other offerings. The bottle and juice still look pretty good. But it’s grape juice, albeit really good grape juice, that you’ll remember.
