BevNET Review: If there ever was a superb brew of Darjeeling tea, Ito En has pulled it off in their Dr. Andrew Weil for Tea line. The rich, earthy flavor tastes fresh brewed, despite being packaged in a steel can. Labeling is by far the best Ito En has managed to date, with a product that should certainly appeal to segments of the US market. Overall, this is definitely worth a try.Reviewed on: 9/26/2007

BevNET Review: Billed as "pure clean refreshment", Ito En's Dr. Andrew Weil for Tea line certainly delivers. The flavor is raw and earthy, with strong notes of grassy tea flavor throughout the body of the drink. Quality is a strong point of this product, especially since there are no added flavors to otherwise pollute the flavor of the tea. Then again, this same unsweetened formula is likely to limit the product's marketability in the US. Perhaps the best part about this product is the use of an 8 ounce can, which will help its "functional" credibility. Overall, an excellent tasting product -- assuming you like unsweetened tea. BevNET Review: Jasmine White is much more complex in flavor than the Green White flavor, with the floral flavor of the jasmine tea providing a nice complement to the delicate white tea. Ito En clearly knows what they are doing when it comes to brewing tea -- and the technical execution of this product is no exception. The packaging and branding are a bit of a departure for Ito En, with a more Americanized feeling to the brand. They've put Dr. Andrew Weil, known for alternative medicine, on the label, which is probably a good theme to use on an herbal tea. Overall, decent looks and superb taste. Reviewed on: 9/26/2007
