BevNET Review: Compared to the other entry from Acai Roots, this is a much stronger and superior entry. Using a mixture of acai, pineapple, and coconut, they've created an original tasting flavor that's extremely pleasant tasting. The pineapple and coconut work well together, with sweet notes of pineapple and the distinct flavor of coconut helping to balance the tartness of the acai. The addition of whey protein is a great point of differentiation, lending the product 5g of protein per serving. Packaging, on the other hand, still suffers from the ails of its counterpart, AX3. The front panel blends a variety of styles, which visually confuse the eye. In addition, the technical looking "PRO X" logo could be a bit off putting, given its similarities to what you'd typically see on a supplement product. Overall, we like the flavor and addition of protein -- but the appearance needs some improvement.
