BevNET Review: AchieveONE is a low carb iced coffee that uses sucralose and ace-k to sweeten it. The result? A lighter body and fewer calories and carbs -- plus they've added protein and vitamins. However, the diet sweetener flavor is just the slightest bit too strong -- and as a result this flavor will be clearly recognized as an artificially sweetened product. Not bad though, considering that a flavor like hazelnut won't be able to fully hide the aftertaste. Regardless, AchieveONE is definitely offering something that makes it stand out in a category full of high calorie/fat/carb products. Overall, we like the Hazelnut Creme but would like to see a little less sweetener aftertaste or a little more hazelnut flavor.Reviewed on: 10/9/2003

BevNET Review: Mocha Java AchievONE is definitely one of the lighter mocha flavored coffees we've tried to date. The mocha flavoring is extremely light and we'd probably like to see a little more. However, the overall body of this product is nice as it doesn't feel like you are drinking cream (as compared to the Starbucks products). The low level of carbs and calories (plus the vitamin and protein) is definitely a major selling point of this product. Plus, we like the look and feel to the packaging -- a nice modern eye catching look. Overall, a nice tasting product that offers some good points of differentiation compared to other RTD coffees we've seen to date. Reviewed on: 10/9/2003

BevNET Review: Vanilla Nut is another AchievONE flavor that could be consumed again and again. This flavor has a light vanilla and nut taste that definitely helps conceal the taste of the diet sweeteners. As a result this flavor tastes least like a diet flavor -- so it's no wonder that this was our favorite flavor of the AchievONE product line. Our only comment on this one (and this applies to the entire brand) is that the seal on the top of the bottle was at times hard to open. Not something that will hurt our review, but something that the manufacturer may want to consider tweaking on an otherwise eye catching package. A great tasting addition to the brand, which like the other flavors, has the added protein and vitamins.Reviewed on: 10/9/2003

BevNET Review: AchieveONE Cappuccino is a good solid iced coffee that has a nice coffee flavor with a light body. We'd compare it to an iced coffee made with skim milk. A nice change from some of the heavy RTD iced coffees that are out there. This being said, this product is actually something that we would be able to consume on a regular basis. It's too early to tell if consumers will be interested in something like this -- but then again most consumers aren't aware that many coffee bar products can push 20+ grams of fat when made with cream. Perhaps this is something that consumers will become aware as products like this penetrate the market. Overall, we like the product and find it quite refreshing to see a product formulated like this -- the added protein and vitamins are definitely nice.Reviewed on: 10/9/2003
