This was one of our favorite flavors of the Adina Holistics brand. Pairing blackberry flavor (with elderberry and grape juice) and hibiscus makes for an extremely refreshing flavor. They’ve used both of these flavors and the added sweetener very sparingly, resulting in a flavor profile that’s subtle but complex enough to satisfy adult palates. Herbal ingredients include ginseng, gotu kola, astragalus, white tea, tulsi leaf, and eleuthero root, which have been added for the loose functional benefit of helping to “restore balance, harmony, and wellness.” Leaving that interpretation up to the consumer is fine, especially since that essentially eliminates the likelihood of a consumer leaving the brand due to functional benefits that don’t work. Plus, they’ve done a great job of creating an attractive, polished looking design that carries from the cap, to the custom molded bottle, and finally on to the label. The label is clean and easy to digest by the eye, while the monkey adds a touch of personality (albeit unexplained personality). Overall, a great product from start to finish.
