BevNET Review: Alcohol Killer is a non-alcoholic carbonated beverage that has been fortified with nutrients that are designed to "make you feel better." There's a pleasant flavor that appears to have an almost lemongrass like flavor (Cymbopogon Citratus -- aka lemongrass -- is buried in the ingredient list) with noticeable vitamin influences. The bitter flavor of the citrus is good, while the nutritional ingredients give it some functional credibility. While Alcohol Killer is quite pleasant tasting, this is probably not the reason that consumers will purchase this product. The brand name, "Alcohol Killer", has a clear implication of being a detox drink. However, the story on the can doesn't resonate this message, instead focusing on the drink's nutritional benefits. However, looking through the ingredients, we see B vitamins, calcium, and iron, which doesn't make an obvious tie back to the drink's Alcohol Killer name. Otherwise, we like the look and feel of the can, including the brands easy to understand name and two color design. Overall, very enjoyable flavor and an eye-catching brand, but they need to improve the link between the name and what's inside the can.Reviewed on: 10/15/2008
