ALO Exposed “Light” is a reduced-calorie version of their flagship offering. Given that the high calorie content is one of the major grievances that people have with aloe vera beverages, getting the product down to only 30 calorie per 8 oz. serving (60 calories per bottle) is definitely a good move. Fortunately, the taste is not suffered too much. The company has used a blend of cane sugar, honey, erythtritol and stevia, which delivers a nice level of sweetness and minimal after taste. Otherwise, it's very much what we've come to expect from ALO. There's a mild aloe vera flavor to it and a modest amount of aloe vera pulp pieces floating throughout. All in all, it's a very enjoyable and pleasing tasting product. On the outside, it's pretty obvious that it's a reduced-calorie offering thanks to the use of both the white backdrop and prominent placement of a “less sugar" callout. While there could be slightly less text on the front panel (there are simply too many competing elements and type treatments), this is still one of the better looking aloe products out there. Overall, we really like what ALO has done with this product and would like to continue see more reduced-calorie offerings added to the line.
