AMBASSADOR -Coconut Juice

BevNET Review: While there are many coconut water products coming to market in the US, there are very few sweetening their formulations with sugar. In the case of Ambassador Coconut Juice, which uses an 85 percent juice blend, they’ve added too much. This product is just too sweet to be enjoyable. Plus, it contains coconut pulp, but unlike other drinks that have uniform chunks, this variety has a mishmash of what appears to be shavings of the stuff, creating a less than appealing appearance and mouth feel. Finally, there’s the can, which is something that is, at best, going to be relegated to ethnic markets or grocery sections. Overall, this is not a product that we’d try again, especially considering how many better coconut water options are on the market today.Reviewed on: 2/17/2011
