Manufacturer's Brand Overview: [Edit]
let's go back to a simpler time before all that foam, no-foam, soy, skim, latte, grande mumbo jumbo. when guys named joe walked into their local greasy spoon, ordered the "blue plate special" and a cup o'joe from a waitress named jo. lord knows times have become complicated since then. guys named joe became guys named ashton. greasy spoons became family restaurants and don't even think about calling jo anything besides a food service technician. but we managed to keep things simple. so just relax and let us take you back to what real coffee should be.

frenchie vanilla
Category: Coffee: Espresso Based; Packaging: 15.2 fl oz
BevNET Review:
Despite having identical nutritional information, frenchie vanilla is definitely the sweetest and most rich tasting product of the america's best brew lineup. The vanilla flavor is strong tasting and could, in our opinion, be toned down a bit. Like the other varieties, the product has a good coffee flavor to it that is best compared to a medium roast. Using a 15.2 ounce wrapped can, the packaging is the most distinct part of this product and the biggest wildcard with this product. The brown hues used on the can are not terribly bright which means that the consumer's eye might not be drawn to this product on a cooler shelf. Overall, a product that is technically good but might benefit from a revision in packaging.

auntie hazelnut
Category: Coffee: Espresso Based; Packaging: 15.2 fl oz
BevNET Review:
auntie hazelnut is another ready-to-drink coffee beverage in the america's best brew product line. Like the other flavors in the line, this product has a medium-strength blend of coffee that has been sweetened with sugar and uses natural and artificial flavors. The formula is not as heavy as a Starbucks yet still has a sufficient amount of creamyness and hazelnut flavor. The packaging is attractive, despite the brown hues which may prevent the product from standing out amidst other shelf offerings. The label art is also well-done and gives the product a very anti-Starbucks feel. Overall, good stuff.

joey cappuccino
Category: Coffee: Espresso Based; Packaging: 15.2 fl oz
BevNET Review:
With a name that sounds like it should be the monicker of a mobster, joey cappuccino is a new ready-to-drink iced coffee beverage from the makers of Glaceau. The flavor of the product is moderately sweet, somewhat creamy, and has a medium-bodied coffee as its base. The packaging is the most interesting aspect of this product, with a wrapped 15.2 fl oz can as the medium. The brown wrap label features a character that resembles 50's "greaser". Whether or not that makes for an attractive package is tough to say, but it's definitely an innovative attempt to break the mold of RTD coffees. Overall, joey cappuccino is definitely worth a try.

milkman mocha
Category: Coffee: Espresso Based; Packaging: 15.2 fl oz
BevNET Review:
milkman mocha is a decent brew of iced coffee that features a retro-style reminiscent of Norman Rockwell. The medium strength cocoa flavor of the product is quite good. The body is creamy, but not heavy. As for the packaging, it is definitely attractive, but it the brown color runs the risk of blending in with other products on the shelf. Still, the appearance is not like the Starbucks clones that we so often see entering this category and that alone may catch the consumer's eye. Overall, a good taste in an original package.
