BevNET Review:
Amino Vital is a new sports drink from Japanese ingredient manufacturer Ajinomoto. The drink includes supplemental amounts of 4 amino acids which the product claims "contribute most to sports performance and long-term conditioning". New Yorkers may very well have run across Amino Vital as the drink is the "Official Amino Acid Supplement Drink" of the Yankees. While we have little basis to evaluate the drink's impact on sports performance, we can say that is has a pleasant lemon-lime flavor and little to no aftertaste from its aspartame-supplemented sweetening. Overall, this a cleanly branded product that should appeal to athletes.
