Amino Vital is introducing a new level of nutritional science to sports drink enthusiasts. While typical sport drinks contain electrolytes for hydration, Amino Vital also includes amino acids. The drink contains Branched-Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs) "for energy and repair" and argine "for overall health and wellbeing." The brand is "Official Amino Acid Supplement Drink of the US Triathalon". Like its Lemon-Lime cousin, Orange is non-carbonated and contains no caffeine. The orange flavor is very light and beverage has only a slight aftertaste from its supplemental aspartame sweeter (manufactured by Ajinomoto). We think the orange flavor could be strengthened a bit, but this is still a solid product.
