AMP Energy Drink: Amp Energy with Green Tea

BevNET Review: Amp’s Green Tea enhanced entry comes to the party pretty late and, unfortunately, seems to have taken a step backward rather than forward. Specifically, it delivers very little tea flavor, with something that’s more like a citrus soda than a tea based drink. Further hurting the situation is the lingering syrupy coating from the sweetener that they’ve chosen (high fructose corn syrup). Nothing against corn syrup, but this seems like a poor pairing, since green tea is typically light and corn syrup is viscous. Packaging doesn’t feel much different, with lots of words slapped on top of a busy backdrop. Plus, it just lacks the personality that the brand had back when it was co-branded with Mountain Dew. We think Pepsi can do a lot better than this.

my favorite beverage

dear amp energy, please do not cancel amp green tea. i love amp green tea. all other energy drinks are completely inferior in comparison to it. it's literally the most refreshing beverage i have ever had the privilege to taste. the flavor is absolutely brilliant and it gives you energy without the thick, sugary, syrup taste of other energy drinks. it is easily safe to say that it is my favorite beverage. im drinking one right now. please dont let it be my last...

Addicted To It

I buy one 3 times per week and i like the taste. My favorites: green tea and citrus type taste plus caffeine.

Suits Me

I am pleased with the citrus bite and not overly sweet flavor, is more refreshing and pleasant to drink. I sip one a day starting around lunch and trying to finish up by 3 or 4 pm so it doesn't keep me up at night. This is a good product and sells out at stores near my area. I contacted Pepsi for a case today. Hands down my favorite energy drink.

I love it

I think that it is the best amp drink out there and I buy all that I can find of them. I heard that you were going to discontinue it, and that really disappoints me cause now I am going to have to buy from a different company It has always worked for me, I love the taste to it and it gives me the energy that is suppose to give

It works

For me the AMP w/ Green Tea works the best. It tates ok, but for me it works, giving me the energy boost that I look for on an energy drink. But, it's getting very hard to find anywhere. Seems all the energy drinks that work for me, seem to start dissappering( Jolt Cola too ) or are very hard to find cause not too many places carry them. Gotta change that, be just as visable and avilable as the rest

amp greentea energy

its about the only energy type drink that has a good taste ,doesnt cause jitters from caffiene overload.ive been told recently by store owners that it is no longer available for order.i was wondering if anyone else had this problem and why?

Getting ready to pick some up from the 24 hr store! But MARK: Vitamin Energy is the best energy drink. It's tastes like carbonated Vitamin Water and no crash either.

Pretty Good

We just checked this drink out today. reasonable price for a good drink. some people complain about how there isnt enough green tea flavor. i dissagree. if you mix amp with green tea, its obvious which taste will be stronger. we went to go find this specific drink so we could try it and we were both not dissapointed. its good tea with that classic amp taste we all love. you should give it a shot. we have yet to try black tea.
