Eh. It's edible? All I really have to say. It doesn't taste all that sharp. It's not a zero, but as for taste, it sure isn't even remotely close to other things on the market.
Hey, one that actually tastes like a soda. Unfortunately, i only got the amount of energy from amp as a soda, too. Its still the best tasting energy drink by far, though.
This was at least better than MDX. Despite being health concious, I do like Mountain Dew, but just plain Mountain Dew seems like a waste to consume. At least you're getting some form of b-vitamins and herbs and ginseng when you drink AMP, with the same pleasent Mountain Dew flavor.
As for me though, I'm allergic to high fructose corn syrup, so I have to eat tons of raw carrots and celery and herbal tea to immunitize myself before drinking it. But after a couple cans of this, I didn't bother anymore. I decided the flavor really isn't worth the trouble. It might be, on rare occasions in the future, though.
Until then, I love non-high fructose corn syrup Steaz, Rockstar, and Guru!

love the taste, nutrition facts, and the kick that it gives to my workouts! i just love the energy and i can totally tell the difference! works wonders.
I have been drinking Amp on and off for several years now, and decided to give my opinion on a widely distributed drink. First and foremost, it is a very sweet, tangy form of Mountain Dew (obviously). The flavor is there, but it is just not original enough for today's market. This is not exactly like mountain Dew based on the energy flavor (which many people seem to miss). Also, the new can stands out and is very sharp. I do believe that this is a great energy drink for someone who does not consume them on a regular basis.

I don't really get the Dew flavors, just a funky citrusy peachness. I dig it, but only in small doses (cans). Good when paired with Sobe Adrenaline Rush.
This makes Red Bull look bad. Amp is definitely the best tasting energy drink on the market. I drink it before my martial arts workouts and basketball. It has a nice sweet, Mountain Dew-like flavor and it doesn't leave an aftertaste like Red Bull, which is disgusting. It tastes like stale licorice. I don't drink anything but Mountain Dew Amp.
