BevNET Review: As with the original "with pulp" variety, the biggest issue with this product is its packaging, which is less than attractive. Its bulky 17.5 size feels clunky and is simply too large for a product that is not going to be familiar to the American palate. Yes, there are ethnic consumers who will probably get this product, but we can't justify a positive rating of this product when more attractive products exist. Given that this is basically a commodity product, the flavor is on par with competing products and has the standard mellow young coconut flavor. While it's refreshing and presumably has health benefits from the high electrolyte content, it's hard to get excited about this product.

Where's the option for 6 stars, cause that's what I give it.! Starting out on fresh young green coconuts off the beach, la playa, Pacific coast,in Costa Rica, I soon learned of the health giving & tissue/cell building quality, to regrow scarred liver organ, found the isotonic' bev. to be consistantly delicious & life giving. Did you know that this stuff is so pure & sterile it can be used IV, & as well for over 50 other health benefits.! And the size is the bonus! The 17.5 oz.,cold, drinks like 12-14 and satisfies fast, relieving thirst & much more.The only problem is keepin' it on hand. I need! to drink 1/day, & buy by the case, when I can.! I'm now in rural So. AZ. & need a source. Can U ship.?

Different Coconuts

I too love the product. Something that everyone should realize about this coconut water versus the others you have tried is Amy & Brian import from Thailand, whereas most of the others (in tetra packs) come from Brazil. Also, it states on their can that the water is from "Young Coconuts", so they are two different products that you are comparing. I buy both, because I love the Brazilian Coconut water and this water is sweeter than the Brazilian. One big negative with Amy & Brian's product is that it is very difficult to find on line and very expensive to ship (almost as much as buying the product). Otherwise, I love the coconut water and I like that it comes in a larger size. Thanks and try to get it distributed with more online vendors.

not a replacement for real, but the best in a can.

unfortunately packaging is too highly rated by retailers. we all should pay attention whats inside and vote with our buying power. all other packaged "coconut" drinks i have seen contain preservatives and are usually pasteurized....therefore ruined by processing...enzymes?...gone! electrolytes?...probably gone too. people have been brainwashed about fat, its not so much the amount...its the type!, 100% vegetable oil?...processed to a pure chemical state, not good fat..thats what is bad for you. without fat intake you will develop serious health problems. coconut fat is in its UNALTERED form is very good for you and will actually help you to burn stored fat....google it, there is no fat in this product by the way. what i want to know is if this product has been heated beyond 100 deg. F....does anyone know? what it was made from was healthy im sure, but what is it now?, now that its made and packaged? if this product is unpasteurized then it should get the highest rating. as far as packaged coconut drinks go, this is the best you can get!

Many thanks

Just this past year I started drinking coconut juice. It cures me for sweet cravings the health benifts are a bonus. I have tried several other brands and by far yours is the best. I prefer the pulp free, I also prefer the size which is about the same price as some of the others that are a much smaller in size. And thank goodness yours is recylable. Again Many thanks for such a great product.

Best ever!

This is by far the best coconut juice I have ever tried - and I've tried a lot of them! Taste-wise, it's fantastic. Plus, the aseptic packaging of other coconut juices are smaller for the same price, and they're not even recyclable! I agree, the bigger the can, the better, and the better for the environment, the better for our future. Has anyone seen the new can for lime? It's yellow - now you can see the difference in packaging a little more clearly.

You were expecting thicker liquid -- as in coconut *milk*? Amy and Brian's Coconut Juice is iconic of coconut juice in general. Because this is what coconut juice *is*. And it is delicious.

a lot of water...NO flavor

First time I bought Coconut Juice and very disappointed for $1.99 a can!!! There was very little coconut flavor and it was water...I was expecting thicker liquid.

Sweet as Summer

Recently I just found this coconut juice at the local food co-op. I was just tagging along with my dad because he is a health nut. He got me hooked on green tea last summer and now this summer coconut juice is going to be the ultimate refreshment for me and this brand is fantastic. I am all about big can too. It's like an extra present you find under the christmas tree.

slake your thirst

aside from a real young cocunut, this seems to be the best of the best, if you nned to slake your thirst and honor your body at the same time. A perfect refreshment for dancers. I have grown up living all over the world and have found nothing in a can better than this. And the ample size of the can is just great!

Amy & Brian All Natural Coconut Juice

I was searching the web looking for a picture of this stuff so i could link to it to hype it to some interweb buddies and was very pleased when I found the high quality picture at this site, but horrifies by the reviews! What are you guys doing? Promoting Coke and Pepsi? This stuff is DELICIOUS! And it needn't be limited to some obscure ethnic or other market. I discovered this stuff at a "Whole Foods" type market. I had also been drinking some of the other rands available at ethnic markets, but the Amy & Brian stuff seems to taste the best. I personally LOVE the big can. (The other brands came in juice boxes, like kids' drinks...) Anyway, just want you guys to know that there's a white bread middle American who really digs this stuff. It shouldn't be written off. Drink up!!
