+ Show Product ReviewLemon Fruit Tea

Product Type:Tea: Sweetened; Container: 16 oz glass
BevNET Review: It's no surprise that Lemon Fruit Tea is the best flavor of the brand as lemon flavor is one of the more natural tasting available. However, this product still uses the apple juice concentrate that is found in the others. In addition, it still has the pasty taste that we found in the others. So while this may be the best flavor of the brand, it's still not great. Most likely this will sell well in grocery stores and lower-end convenience stores. Overall, we'd pass on this product as there are so many better iced teas on the market today.Reviewed on: 8/1/2003

+ Show Product ReviewPeach Fruit Tea

Product Type:Tea: Sweetened; Container: 16 oz glass
BevNET Review: While Peach Fruit Tea may taste like a decent brew of iced tea upon first tasting it, the product leaves a taste in your mouth that makes you wonder how it would be possible to finish the entire bottle. Why? It's all about two ingredients -- corn syrup, apple juice, and peach flavor. First of all, the corn syrup, tea, and peach flavor combine to create a "pasty" feeling in your mouth. Not good. Second, the apple juice (which is used to sweeten and provide juice content to this product) is another flavor that does not mix well with the tea and peach flavors. Overall, we did not like this product.Reviewed on: 8/1/2003

+ Show Product ReviewRaspberry Fruit Tea

Product Type:Tea: Sweetened; Container: 16 oz glass
BevNET Review: One thing really struck us while we were drinking this product -- why does Apple and Eve produce a product that presents apple juice as filler juice? Doesn't this undermine the rest of their products if apple juice is used in a place where one could have used white grape? Anyway, the apple juice does nothing for this product except allows Apple and Eve to put 5% juice on the label. Beyond that, the brew of tea does not taste good, the raspberry flavor does not taste like real fruit, and the bottle is about as generic as they come. Sorry guys -- go back to the drawing board.Reviewed on: 8/1/2003

+ Show Product ReviewTangerine Fruit Tea

Product Type:Tea: Sweetened; Container: 16 oz glass
BevNET Review: Apple & Eve Tangerine Tea is a relatively refreshing iced tea beverage. It's a bit sweet compared to many of the higher end herbal teas that are out there. This product fits more into the Snapple mold in terms of taste. For the most part, this product is like Snapple, but higher quality. The tea flavor is good, but the tangerine flavor is a bit overwhelming and doesn't taste totally natural. Overall, a mediocre product that could use some improvement in the formulation. Specifically, we'd recommend something other than apple juice and ditch the corn syrup.Reviewed on: 8/1/2003
