Berry Pomegranate

Product Type:Water: Enhanced; Container: 20 fl oz (591 ml) PET
BevNET Review: This flavor drinks like a flat CSD and, therefore, we believe this formulation would likely taste a lot better with some carbonation to it. Clearly, Pepsi isn’t going to do that, so in the absence of carbonation, the product has neither a true berry or pomegranate flavor. “Mixed berry” might be a more appropriate – albeit less marketable – name for the product, but at least it wouldn’t disappoint consumers seeking the taste or benefits of pomegranate. Overall, we struggle to find positive things to say about this. If Pepsi isn’t going to change the flavors, we would strongly suggest a more original (meaning less like the rest of Aquafina) look to the packaging.Reviewed on: 2/26/2007

Orange Lime

Product Type:Water: Enhanced; Container: 20 fl oz (591 ml) PET
BevNET Review: Orange Lime flavored Aquafina Alive had the most inviting and fruity aroma, so we sampled this one first. The flavor is fruity and sweet, but finishes up with the unpleasant taste of artificial sweeteners. There’s no discernable orange or lime flavors – it’s more like a mashing of two random citrus flavors. As you can probably tell, we don’t feel too optimistic about this product’s flavor. The functionality of the product is relatively run of the mill, and the generic “replenish – cleanse” isn’t terribly appealing or compelling. In our view, this is a confusing product intro that unfortunately blends in with the rest of the Aquafina lineup.Reviewed on: 2/26/2007

Peach Mango

Product Type:Water: Enhanced; Container: 20 fl oz (591 ml) PET
BevNET Review: Peach Mango is really the only flavor of the lineup that we would consider consuming again. There’s a decent peach flavor – complete with “fuzz” – and there’s a decent splash of mango in there as well. It does, however, feel a lot like a CSD, complete with artificial sweetener aftertaste. Plus, we think the value proposition of Aquafina Alive Wellness Water is lost in the messy packaging. Overall, it’s drinkable, but not great.Reviewed on: 2/26/2007
