BevNET Review: Atomic Dogg is an urban themed energy drink that's packaged in a 16 oz can. The berry flavor is sweet, but pleasant and clean, which is the result of using sugar instead of HFCS. There's a fair amount of carbonation to it as well as a vitamin note to the finish, but otherwise the product is an enjoyable CSD style energy drink. However, it's not the most original of entries, especially since urban style energy drinks are not in short supply. The packaging is decent, with cartoon graphics of a rough and tough "dogg" on the front of the can, but it doesn't really get us excited or feel innovative. In summary, the flavor is enjoyable and the graphics are decent, but the big question is whether or not there's space left in the market for a drink like this.Reviewed on: 5/30/2008
