This product is actually a mix of 20 percent pure kiwi juice, water, and cane sugar. Those whose knee-jerk reaction is that it’s not 100 percent pure kiwi juice should think again – this is pretty thick stuff already. With a strong, accurate kiwi flavor, this could actually turn out to be a pretty tasty orange juice substitute – a possible motivation for placing a high-visibility Vitamin C label across the front of the package. But it’s the rest of the package that’s the problem here – the label looks washed out and a ribbon touting “Gold Medal Winner” at the “World Beverage Competition” carries very little weight – it ain’t the Emmys, that’s for sure. Also, we don’t get the logic behind having a 10 oz. square PET bottle and a 12 oz. round -- it costs the product some uniformity and is bound to raise questions in consumers’ minds. Still, it’s a nice-tasting product, and one with a unique, real fruit character, and that might garner some sort of cult following.
