Jasmine Vanilla
Category: Water: Enhanced; Packaging: 16 fl oz (473ml) plastic
BevNET Review:
Jasmine Vanilla isn't exactly a name that will whet the appetite of mainstream America, but this formulation does not disappoint in any way. Made with four simple ingredients, this USDA Organic product has a floral aroma that gives way to a clean almost minimalist flavor. With soothing notes of jasmine and vanilla, Ayala's Jasmine Vanilla delivers exactly what's promised on the label. Packaging is clean and professional looking, which fits well with the earthy nature of this product. Overall, a nice product that's definitely an innovative step for the category.

Cinnamon Orange Peel
Category: Water: Enhanced; Packaging: 16 fl oz (473ml) plastic
BevNET Review:
Cinnamon and orange peel might not whet the appetite when you read the label, but this is a very enjoyable product once you give it a try. The product has a yin and yang feeling with the tartness of the orange peel balanced by the slightly spicy taste of the cinnamon. It seems more balanced than the original version (the latest round is USDA Organic as well), which is a definite plus. Definitely improved over the first batch that we sampled.

Cloves Cardamom Cinnamon
Category: Water: Enhanced; Packaging: 16 fl oz (473ml) plastic
BevNET Review:
Clove, cardamom, and cinnamon -- that's anything but standard for a flavored water. The mildly spiced flavor is probably most closely compared to the spice found in chai. For a zero calorie product, this flavor of Ayala Herbal Water delivers an adult flavor that's big on taste from start to finish. Overall, the execution of the flavor is near perfect. Packaging is clean and elegant, and the addition of USDA Organic certification will certainly help. However, we'd still love to see more emphasis on the flavor -- at least a bigger font would be nice. Definitely a must try flavor.

Ginger Lemon Peel
Category: Water: Enhanced; Packaging: 16 fl oz (473ml) plastic
BevNET Review:
Like the other flavors, Ginger Lemon Peel has gone through a bit of an upgrade, with USDA Organic flavors being used in place of the previous "all natural" varieties. Aside from the benefits of the USDA Organic logo, the product has a more balanced flavor with the lemon and ginger. The packaging is attractive and professional looking, but the name of the flavor still feels a bit hard to find. Overall, a much improved drink that, aside from a minor flaw in type treatment, is a great product.

Lavender Mint Lemongrass Thyme
Category: Water: Enhanced; Packaging: 16 fl oz (473ml) plastic
BevNET Review:
Ayala's Lavender Mint Lemongrass Thyme entry is a well executed mixture of herbal ingredients that is delivered in unsweetened form. The result is a taste that's very true to nature, complete with four very distinct herbal flavor. The lemongrass gives the product a familiar citrus taste, while the lavender and thyme add some richness to the aroma and a splash of mint rounds out the finish. It's a very drinkable and refreshing product that cannot be compared to other products on the market today -- at least in terms of flavor. Like many new "functional" products, this one is making a softer push, offering herbal benefits that are less direct than the tried and true sugar and caffeine mixture that created the industry. That's fine by us though -- especially with an innovative offering like this one.

Lemongrass Mint Vanilla
Category: Water: Enhanced; Packaging: 16 fl oz (473ml) plastic
BevNET Review:
Ayala Herbal Water's Lemongrass Mint Vanilla is a well formulated product that proves that you can have depth of flavor without sugar. First to hit your tongue is the lemongrass, followed by the vanilla and lastly with a mild mint finish. Plus, the combination of the three flavors works extremely well together, giving the product extremely high refreshment quality. Last, but not least, they've recently switched to an Organic formulation, which doesn't appear to have had any negative (or positive) impact on the already enjoyable flavor.
