Made water, peppermint, orange peel, green jasmine tea, goji, jujube date, ginger, chrysanthemum, white peony root, and fleece flower root, Cirque du Supermint is one of the most complex tasting products of the line. It’s definitely heavy on the mint, while the jasmine tea provides a pretty heavy secondary flavor to the mix. The other ingredients seem to be lost in the shuffle. That’s okay, assuming you don’t have anything against mint or green jasmine tea – this is definitely a very high quality mix of those two ingredients. And that seems to be what they are going for – creating something that is so close – or maybe even better – than what you’d be able to make fresh. Visually, this product is not as attractive as the other flavors, but this is just the result of the darker color liquid hiding what’s floating inside the bottle. Otherwise, we like the 16 ounce jar, despite it being somewhat impractical as a beverage container (it’s clumsy to drink or pour from). The label has a sophisticated feeling to it, while the light blue color used for the flavor name is much easier to read than the text on some of the other flavors (we hope they’ll adjust the others). Overall, a very enjoyable product.
