BevNET Review: The “Core” variety of Beaver Buzz is their take on the “classic” energy drink flavor. In this case, they’ve given the product a bit more fruit flavor (it’s sort of a citrus-berry), which helps keep the energy ingredients at bay. The product packs in 150 mg of caffeine (per can), taurine, ginseng, guarana, inositol, and d-glucuronolactone into a sleek 12 oz. can. Recently, the product got a bit of a makeover, with a new, more aggressive looking Beaver Buzz logo taking the place of the old, more kitschy beaver with a hockey stick. The result is a product that has a much better looking and more polished presence, with the Canadian angle working more harmoniously with what the product is all about. Plus, it’s a nice tasting alternative to the countless other “classic” style energy drinks, delivering a smooth and crisp flavor that lacks much in the way of aftertaste. Overall, a job well done by Beaver Buzz.
