BevNET Review: This root beer has a clean, crisp, smooth, and refreshing birch taste - all that we could ask for from a root beer. It's sweetened with pure cane sugar, not corn syrup, so it doesn't have a syrupy consistency. We enjoyed this beverage from start to finish. The brown bottle was a nice touch...it really added to the old-fashioned feel of this beverage. Definitely a top-notch root beer.

I bought a 1 litre of the berghoff at my local mercado for $1.49 and it was very much worth it. The taste is smooth and not overpowering, it has hints of other flavors as you drink it, and of course the bottle is cool as well. helps them last longer too, as the brown reflects more sunlight and prevents the sugars from breaking down.

This is made with pure cane sugar and you can tell right away. It tases like rootbeer did when we were kids. I kove this stuff

This is the best root beer I've ever had. Very different than your typical modern soda fountain variety. It's similar in taste to A&W, only better. It's got a very clean, perfectly liquid consistency because it's sweetened with sugar, not corn syrup. And it's got that perfect smooth, frothy root beer taste that is perfect for a float. IBC is good, but much different. This stuff is awesome. Highly recommended!

A great root beer, truly different from the big brands like IBC or MUG, you really have not had root beer until you have had some Berghoff. It lacks the ultra-sweet, artificial taste that a lot of other root beers have and packs a mild bite.
