BevNET Review: Designed to “enhance energy, stamina, and performance in your daily life and most intimate moments,” Bido juice is a caffeine free herbal beverage. It both looks and tastes like an energy drink, which is probably a good thing -- it’s hard to see a big market for a CSD that enhances your “most intimate moments.” Flavor is decent, but nothing special, with a tropical citrus style that has a moderate amount of bite and a slight sweetener aftertaste (it uses a blend of sugar and sucralose). Functionally, the product has a variety of herbal extracts and vitamins, many of which are found in energy drinks. Packaging and branding are the biggest disappointment, with a whimsical background that looks like a plume of smoke. The name “Bido Juice” is clearly short for libido juice, but the way that it rolls off the tongue isn’t overly appealing (plus it sounds like “Beetle Juice”). In any event, we think that the confusing look of the product, it’s poor visual execution, and the extremely small niche focus are going to make this product have a very hard uphill battle.
