Blue Jeans Energy Drink, which is imported from the Netherlands, is one of those products that appears to have had zero modifications (aside from an English and FDA compliant label) from its original European format. The formulation, which has a berry flavor and a strong "energy" aftertaste, also feels like a straight European import. It's neither good or bad – just somewhere in the middle. Same goes for the packaging. Who does "Blue Jeans" appeal to? It's hard to put our finger on the potential customer for this brand. Whoever the intended target is, we definitely feel that something is lost in translation. Unless, of course, this is simply a value product, hoping to catch the consumer seeking the cheapest way to get caffeinated. Overall, it has a decent taste, but we struggle to see the niche for this product.
