Blue Print’s “Red” is a mixture of apple, carrot, beet, lemon, and ginger juices, all of which are completely raw (meaning no pasteurization of any kind). There’s a slight vegetal note (from the beets and carrots) to the mix, but it quickly subsides and the apple and lemon take over. The ginger adds a nice hit of spice to the finish, which is a nice way to round things out. Red definitely has the heaviest mouth feel of the three Blue Print flavors that we sampled, so it might not be the best variety to start out with. Packaging is an attractive 16 oz. PET bottle. We like the minimalist look of the label – it’s perfect for what this product is. Finally, there’s the price point, which, at over $5 per bottle, is extremely pricey. Overall, a very well executed product.
