Product Type: Carbonated Soft Drink: Regular; Container: 12 fl oz (355 ml) glass
BevNET Review: For a product that says that it was established in 1845, this product sure tastes a lot like every other root beer that's on today's store shelves. Using a high fructose corn syrup sweetened formulation, this product has a creamy flavor with a subtle vanilla flavor and only a slight syrupy consistency. The flavor is decent, but we feel like we've had this formula at least a dozen times before, so we can't give it any points for originality. Overall, it's a decent, middle of the pack premium root beer. As far as packaging goes, it's not bad, but it feels a little bland. Aside from the barrels, which have nothing to do with this product anyway, there's nothing on the package that would really inspire a purchase.
