BevNET Review: Pomegranate and Bombilla Gourd's organic yerba mate pair surprisingly well, resulting in a well balanced flavor that has just the right amount of tea and pomegranate flavors. The pomegranate is derived from flavoring, which makes it somewhat hard to judge its quality. On the other hand, the mate is the real deal. It's certainly the strongest part of the product. The bottle's red color scheme is attractive, giving it a sophisticated look that stands out against the other flavors in the brand. Perhaps the biggest question for this flavor -- just like other pomegranate products -- is whether or not consumers will buy into a pomegranate flavored product (as opposed to one that has real juice).
