BevNET Review: Bossa Nova’s Acai with Pomegranate juice beverage is an organic drink comprised of 80 percent juice. The taste is quite enjoyable, with the pomegranate providing a nice complement to the acai. The tartness usually found in other “superfruit” beverages is subtle and adds to the balance of tart and sweet instead of pummeling your palette. Aside from acai and pomegranate concentrates, the product is sweetened only with organic agave nectar. The agave also plays an intricate part in the tart and sweet balance as well, adding a distinct sweetness that rounds out the finish. This drink is packaged in a clear 10 oz. PET bottle, which features a clean looking label that has a retro (late 60’s early 70’s) style to it. This clean approach is supported by an ornate flower-like wrap, which encloses the top of the beverage and provides an interesting and welcoming touch. Overall this is an enjoyable product and an easy addition to an already strong Bossa Nova lineup.
