Review: Acai Blueberry

Bossa Nova’s Acai Blueberry is, as the name suggests, a blend of clarified acai juice and blueberry juice. Of the two acai flavors that make up their 90 calorie per bottle line, we definitely preferred this variety thanks to the pop that the blueberry flavor adds. Otherwise, the drink’s agave and stevia sweetener blend works well, providing a nice level of sweetness and having only minimal sweetener aftertaste. And we think that’s a good trade off to get the calories to under 100 per bottle. The 10 oz. bottle follows the same theme that Bossa Nova has been using since its inception, utilizing a retro label and a proprietary bottle that feels good in your hand. Again, our only criticism is the amount of text that’s on the front panel. Overall, a very enjoyable formulation from Bossa Nova.
