BevNET Review: Boylan's Creme soda is a nice French Vanilla cream soda. It has a light, sweet taste, that has a slightly bitter finish. The flavor is not too strong and results in an easy sipping cream beverage. This cream soda is definitely worth a try.

like w/ other boylan's products, their cream soda is quite spectacular. very smooth and - like the label suggests - creamy. well done boylans : thanks for being here for us and standing strong to your roots!

Delicious

I don't buy a lot of creme soda, but this drink is delicious. It has the same simplicity if the other Boylan products, and a very nice vanilla flavour. It is now one of my favourite drinks.

Outstanding

I'd previously posted a review for Boylan's Natural Creme here in error, so given that I couldn't delete it here after copying and pasting the content to the review area for the correct item, I decided to rectify the situation by actually reviewing this one. Good decision! This is a VERY fine creme. It's every bit as good as Virgil's but not nearly as heavy (or as complex, for that matter), nor is it as dry as Boylan's Natural. It's a very simple and elemental creme with excellent ingredients that combine to make a soda that can either be chugged on hot days (unlike Virgil's) or savored. Very creamy with delicious natural vanilla flavor and just the right levels of carbonation and cane sugar sweetness--anyone who likes cremes and appreciates good quality is bound to like this one. Try as I might, I was unable to detect the "slightly bitter finish" mentioned in the BEVnet editorial; this is truer of the Natural Creme (and it's not a bad thing, either). The half-star demerit is only because it's not quite as good as Manhattan Special, the standard against which all other creams are judged. ;)

Cream Soda

Not a huge fan of cream sodas, probably because none of them have been decent. The exception is Boylan's. The only cream soda worth consuming. Very smooth, very refreshing.

Only fair

Do not see what others see in the product. Nice packaging...sorta. The flavor just was not there for me at least.

Smooth

Just had my first taste. Most cream sodas, even premium ones, are sticky sweet, being made with corn sweeteners; few have real vanilla flavoring. Boylans is, naturally, all natural. What a great product!
