Most so-called "beverages" are little more than sugar water and food coloring. That left a bad taste in our mouth. So we created BreakThru - a new breed of beverage scientifically formulated for the fastest hydration and recovery. It's a great tasting all-natural drink with 40 key nutrients and absolutely no sugar or artificial sweetners. And did we mention it has just 44 calories per container, and only 11g of carbohydrate per container.

BevNET Review: BreakThru has really done it with this flavor. The sweet sugar-free kiwi strawberry flavor tastes like a full sugar product and it leaves behind a mild tingling sensation in your mouth. There's only a minor sweetener/ingredient aftertaste, which is definitely above average as far as the category goes. The bright red and silver packaging is more attractive than its lemon lime counterpart, making this the flavor that we think most people will reach for. BevNET Review: For a non-carbonated, no-sugar energy drink, Lemon Lime BreakThru is quite impressive. The flavor, which is basically a cross between a sports drink style flavor and an energy drink, is refreshing and sweet, with only a mild aftertaste. The packaging is an original effort that's attractive and eye-catching, but the vertical text is a bit difficult to read. It's appeal will most likely be urban or active consumers in off-premise venues. Only time will tell if consumers latch on to the Tetra packaging, but it's something that feels nice in the hand. Overall, this is a good product that has come up with something that's original and tastes good.Reviewed on: 9/26/2005
