BevNET Review: Yes, Bubble Yum soda does, in fact, taste like bubblegum. That's quite possibly the first time we've made this statement without it being meant as a criticism. Fortunately, however, Bubble Yum doesn't possess the same bubblegum flavor found in poorly formulated products. Instead, it's true to its name, featuring a flavor that made us immediately crave bubblegum. Unfortunately, the market for this product is probably rather limited. A full-strength CSD that's intended to taste like candy seems like a counterintuitive product to launch in this day and age -- especially when there's nothing special or attractive about the packaging. Bubble Yum is most definitely a novelty product in our opinion -- we simply can't imagine many consumers reaching for a 280-calorie bottle of bubblegum flavored pop. That being said, changing to upscale and/or nostalgia packaging would likely go a long way.

I used to drink this as a child back in 1987 I loved it then out of nowhere it was gone and my wife says I am the dumbest fool for thinking a drink ever was in production. I am so glad to see that it's back. I just hope I can find one. I miss it so much. and yes it was once called hubba bubba soda

Bought this at Hucks. Thought to myself that no way in heck it could be done, but lo and behold, it has. I bought a bottle, and it tasted great.

Back in the day I would drink this pop (yes, pop, i'm from chicago) whenever I could get my hands on it. Then out of nowhere it was gone! I've gone through my whole life asking anyone if they used to drink this pop too. The common answer was that they never even heard of it. I always told them they had missed out on something special. Roughly, 3 weeks ago, I stopped into a 711 to get my classic drink.....Cherry Coke. As I reached to grab it I saw a pink bottle in the corner of my eye. That was it! My best kept childhood memory! I purchased it and took it to work with the biggest grin on my face. 2 weeks later I went to the same 711 to grab another......gone! I've been to every 711 since and can't find it. I need my Bubbly Yum Soda!!!!! Oh, and back in the day it was called Hubba Bubba Soda.
