BevNET Review: Jamaica Hibiscus is very clean mixture of water, hibiscus, and sugar. This flavor will be familiar to people who drink herbal tea as hibiscus is often used in herbal blends. It has a very flower-like aroma to it with a flavor that is lightly bitter with a sweet finish. The flavor was recently tweaked a bit and is now a bit more mainstream. In fact, in our tests we found that this product tastes almost like a mild grape juice beverage.Eat Inc. also wisely reduced the bottle size to 16 ounces which should definitely improve its commercial viability. This is a refreshing, authentic beverage that we definitely recommend.

This is a strange drink, like oversweet tea

This is marketed to the Mexican market, in the Mexican section of grocery stores, and with half Spanish labels. The ingredients are just hibiscus, sugar, and water. I'm sure there must be color added. The flavor is a bit like tea, maybe a light green tea, and the sweet red juice suggests grape juice. All in all this is pretty sick tasting, and I wouldn't try this again. Props from being from UNC, though.

Liked this product. Can't find it anywhere. Not too sweet, would be pefect accept for the "cooked" taste from the pasteurization, kept belching up that "cooked" taste.
