BevNET Review: Cinnabon's Mocha Latte is quite possibly the best RTD mocha latte we've ever tried. The flavor is ample and rich, with real coffee and chocolate flavors present in a perfectly balanced formula. Unlike many other products in this space, the product actually has a taste that resembles what you'd get fresh from a barista (or fountain, in Cinnabon's case). The best part, however, is the complete lack of burnt milk flavor -- a problem that plagues most shelf stable coffee products. Technically speaking, this product has everything it needs on the inside of the can. The outside of the can is appealing and inviting, with the Cinnabon logo placed prominently on the front. This could prove to be a double edged sword for the brand. On the one hand, it's a brand that has value and experience in the coffee space and will be familiar to consumers. On the other hand, it's a name that is synonymous with high fat, glazed treats. Whether this works for or against the brand in the long run is unknown, but we think that they've done a great job of creating a technically sound, attractive product.
